What are some ideas/apps that should be brought to the terminal?

Been working on a bash script that uses some python applications and ImageMagick to do this, but there has to be a more streamlined way to do this is a compiled language. It's beyond me though.

I can only imagine it would only perform marginally better. But it's mostly just to decrease dependency on other programs, and to get results without having to upload to 0x0.st.
