    • CRAN is such a pain in the gizzards for me as a package developer. To me, the only benefit of CRAN is that is easier for beginner users to install from it (not that installing from GitHub is much harder with packages like Librarian cough cough cough). I think I have two packages where I deem the hassle worthwhile.
