It has taken such a colossal amount of effort to destroy the incredible amount of positive feeling that people had for the Google brand, but the constant cancellation of projects people loved like reader combined with forcing projects like Wave and G+ onto users who didn’t want it, the decline in search quality and rather aggressive ad overlay strategy, the incredible problems creators are having with YouTube, and now this hostile anti-user project the MBAs-who-should-be-fired-immediately are embarking on taking features of YouTube and putting them behind a paywall because they can’t figure out how to make a premium service creatively by adding value — it’s doing it.
