Creating a file in /var/games with user editable permissions in xbps-src package

  • So it looks like I have the correct permissions set however bastet cannot read it and likewise neovim warns me that the file is read-only when I run as my user. As root everything works as expected. Here's the link to my fork of void-packages where I've pushed up the rest of the files if you need to look at them. I had a look at the bsd-games package as I think there is some similarity as to where the scores are handled (just in sub-directories of /var/games however). So I've tried to do what was done there.
