I agree. You may be interested in issues #2, #3, #4, which specifically addresses that point.
Nevertheless, if you need to add matrices, you can have a look at my little library I wrote as a starting point. https://github.com/NJdevPro/Rmatrix I am a Rust beginner, so it may not be very rusty (it's literally the first and only Rust code I've written so far), but it's simple enough.
