  • scrollart

A collection of "scroll art" computer animation programs in several languages, suitable for teaching/learning to code.

  • I've been thinking about this too. One thing I've come up with is a form of ASCII art animation I call "scroll art". I have a git repo of unpolished examples. The idea is that, using just print(), loops, and random numbers, you can create semi-interesting animations with just a few lines of code. The idea is that the "animation" comes from the repeated prints filling up the screen, causing the picture they produce to scroll upwards in the terminal.
