    banzai: pure rust bzip2 encoder

  • banzai (crates.io)

  • igrep

    Interactive Grep

  • I am going to continue code refactoring in igrep until I deem it satisfactory. Maybe it is time to release 1.0 version since it seems to be "feature complete" :)

  • htree

    Making gifs in Rust

  • https://github.com/adamchalmers/htree is the code -- it's fun to look at the commits and see my beginner code slowly as I revisit it every year or so.

  • BoilR

Synchronize games from other platforms into your Steam library (by PhilipK)

  • I have been working on BoilR a small tool that adds games from others launchers in your Steam Games library so that everything is in one place. Rust was probably overkill for the project, but it has been super nice to work with and I have learned a lot. And the project now seems to be useful, specially for the Steam Deck community.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
