  • Btw it's nice to see someone betting on C++ for Gtk development, I've only tried for experimental projects and to satisfy my curiosity but I've always had to pickup Vala for serious projects since it's the language with most quantity of Gtk examples. Perhaps you may to check it out, it's a statically typed object-oriented language that compiles to C and it was built specially to write Gtk apps.
