  • Hyprland

Hyprland is a highly customizable dynamic tiling Wayland compositor that doesn't sacrifice on its looks.

  • I am currently trying to create a Hyprland setup in Arch Linux. I log in via GDM, and I also have Gnome installed. I have set Hyprland up to open Wofi's dmenu with SUPER + D and that works without problems. I have also set the GTK_THEME environment variable as well as the gtk-theme gsetting to the theme I want to use.

  • nushell

    A new type of shell

  • As for the logouts: I use Nushell and I had a login.nu file located in my nushell configs that set some environment variables it shouldn't have. There were multiple variables that caused the issue, too many to figure out exactly which ones, but one of them was XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP = 'GNOME', that one alone already causes the issue (although there were more). All I had to do was delete the login.nu file, because I didn't need it anyway. Now it works as expected.

  • InfluxDB
