My personal Emacs config with any quirks, oddities, bugs, and man-eating errors I live with on a daily basis. (by jimeh)
Simplest way on macOS to get native compilation is my emacs-builds project. Emacs 28.x and later, including nightly builds all have native compilation, and are available as Homebrew casks.
Alternatively if you prefer to compile Emacs on your machine, there’s emacs-plus and my own build-emacs-for-macos which both have options to enable native compilation for 28.x and later builds.

I don’t use doom emacs (or any config framework), but my config is generally very fast and responsive. Especially with things like language server interactions and completions in Go and such.
At least recommend VSCodium rather than actual spyware.
