I don’t think I’ve seen a map like this! The most difficult aspect would probably be maintenance with keeping information up to date, but it would be a very cool project! I’m not sure if you have mapping experience with ESRI programs, but this is the script that the the ICUN Redlist uses for their interactive maps / spatial data, if it’s helpful: https://leafletjs.com/
