Project mention: How to Build a Graph Visualization Engine and Why You Shouldn’t | dev.to | 2023-02-07
Currently, Orb comes with two different views to use: DefaultView and MapView. DefaultView is, as the name suggests, a default view where the graph is rendered on a blank canvas. MapView, on the other hand, renders a graph on top of the map background where each node needs to have a geo position (latitude and longitude). MapView uses Leaflet which is the leading open-source JavaScript library for interactive maps.

Project mention: Wanting to put a collaborative map on our organizations website. That logs who does what actions, but allows for members to place pins and make comments about places. We are all tour guides | reddit.com/r/WebdevTutorials | 2022-11-06
This project was a react app using Leaflet for the map and https://github.com/geoman-io/leaflet-geoman for the advanced line drawing tools. Unfortunately all that was ever used by the client was pins … we do cluster them however.

I have been working with GeoServer well in 8080 and have now started working on getting a web application built in Leaflet. A main component I want is location tracking/identification. I have been following this video tutorial for the following plugin info. I was able to get the "my location" button to add to map successfully, but receive the following error: "Geolocation error: Only secure origins are allowed".

I wish I had time to have built that part myself! I'm leaning heavily on open source plugins like these [1][2]. The gradients are representative of elevation. So red = highest points along the trail and green = lowest points. Where you see sharp gradients from green to red is where the steepest slopes are. There is slope graph that can be setup in the plugin configuration.
