if it's sound like you mentioned I guess this ticket should probably be looked at, https://github.com/dkfans/keeperfx/issues/233 atm some of the old code is read from the original game exe converted to an exe, we're getting close to getting rid of said dll and the plan was to make a native linux port, so I guess getting rid of that old sound lib would need to be done either way in the near future, first would be an x86 port but later probably an arm port as well I guess
