The Windows Terminal App was introduce by Microsoft in 2019 as the new terminal emulator replacing the Command Prompt, which dates back to the beginning of the NT kernel. With a new look, new features and now rivaling the functionality of the Linux terminal with the only place lacking is in the appearance department. The project is Open Source and hosted on GitHub. There are lots of tools to personalize the Windows Terminal Experience.

Open the terminal app, under settings click the "Open JSON file", it will open a file in a code editor or text editor. I would assume if you are customizing your Windows Terminal you already have some sort of editor install that isn't the default notepad app, otherwise, you can use Notepad++.
