  An RTSP bridge to Reolink IP cameras

I just bought a couple of these and have been pretty appalled with thier security including poor to non-existent certificate management as well as extremely infrequent firmware updates. The network traffic they send to the cloud(by default) is pretty f’d up. It is also unencrypted as shown here I’ve also found the Reolink doesn’t acknowledge their use of Linux and open source or provide modified source code. I would have sent them back but I tossed the boxes. So I’m now just taking the duo apart to see what I can learn. So word of advice, if the reason you are using your own system rather than a cloud service is privacy and security, it might be best to look elsewhere.
