I'm also not 100% self taught, because I took AP Comp Sci in high school which did give me a good basic foundation to start with. I highly recommend taking a free online college course such as CS50 to give a better, but similar basis. The system design primer on github is also really good, and helped me a lot with understanding large concepts and cloud computing.
This is what I learned with, but it's a bit outdated (and I did start using it around the time it came out so). That one you linked is newer but paid. I believe he has an even newer up to date version that costs money on his website as well. I can't speak for it, but I can speak for the older free one. It's still very relevant today.
