I've seen a few people here giving you the basis of gem farming. I want to add that there is another advanced technique that does not script and yet farms thousands of gems an hour. Briv modron farming. I'm writing a (yet) incomplete in depth guide if you want to give that a read and get more hope for later game content. The requirements are a bit steep, but before that this is not interesting enough. Iirc it's supposed to be at least a 1 or 2 jump briv.
