Contracts on Briv, Hew, or Artemis?
Briv takes a while to set up so that he'll get enough stacks before reseting, but if you use a guide it will take an hour and then at 4j you be collecting 5 times as many gems or more. I'd also suggest looking at tyredeck's video on Briv gem farming. When I first set up a 4j Briv farm, I was using Nahara and it messed up the farm. Tyredeck explains how to fix that.

How do you farm gems as a normal human being (and not some 4 skip Briv scriptkid with e10000 favor in Witchlight and a maxed modron core flowing all purple in all inputs)?
I've seen a few people here giving you the basis of gem farming. I want to add that there is another advanced technique that does not script and yet farms thousands of gems an hour. Briv modron farming. I'm writing a (yet) incomplete in depth guide if you want to give that a read and get more hope for later game content. The requirements are a bit steep, but before that this is not interesting enough. Iirc it's supposed to be at least a 1 or 2 jump briv.
