In Cloud Land, it's typically Azure Active Directory, Okta, or one of 50 billion other SaaS identity providers. My personal preference is Keycloak, as it has security audits and the long arm of Red Hat behind it (which is pretty darn important when you're talking about the lynchpin of your authentication).
