Many companies that used to go for openLDAP moved to 389ds and some selfhosters recommend LLDAP. LLDAP doesn't have all of the LDAP features but it's probably enough for most folks over here.

You could even use OpenID Connect / OAuth 2 here which is a bit nicer since you can properly share a session and setup TOTP.
There's also a security optimized NGINX image called BunkerWeb. It has a WAF builtin and an optional web interface.
I looked at the comparative tab from https://goauthentik.io/ that compares it with Keycloak, Authelia... If I assume that it is up to date, then my only options (on this tab) are Authentik and Keycloak as it's the only ones with Enrollment (if I have the correct understanding of enrollment, i. e. users can create their account by themselves). I will also look at the other options you gave me that are not in this tab.
