WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
I sold httpstatuses.com in... 2016 I think, maybe 2017, and the acquirers kept it as-is until 2022. Someone (not me) recently relaunched the site (as it was opensource) under a new domain -- https://httpstatuses.io -- so if you can replace ".com" with ".io" in your muscle memory, you can get the original site!
Their blog post about relaunching: https://jkulton.com/2022/reviving-httpstatuses

> How is the author publishing source code on his own github repo "burdening the public".
The repo is visible in GH code search. This is the current state of software repositories in general: https://duckduckgo.com/?ia=images&iax=images&q=hoarding+diso... Nothing ever gets thrown out, so another way to tackle the problem is to find ways to reduce the amount that is added to the garbage mountain.
Some people pretend that every piece of software ever written has value, or concentrate on the positive aspects while neglecting the downsides, mostly due to a false sense of not wanting to "make a scene" or to alienate newcomers, confusing the person with his work. This is not how I want the society I live in to operate, so I will continue on occasion to speak about against software that fails the clear the very low bar of providing enough value to justify its existence.
I took a slightly different approach to this problem.
I made a CLI tool (bash) that leverages imgcat (the one that comes with iTerm2) to display images (in my terminal) from http.cat that correspond to the code I'm wondering about as well as a link to the mozilla docs with more details if i need them.
seeing the cats injects a smile into the frustration around "what the heck is a 407?!"

Actually i think a website/service similar in concept to https://wttr.in would be amazing!
