DMs! How do you organize notes

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/dndnext

Our great sponsors
  • Appwrite - The open-source backend cloud platform
  • InfluxDB - Collect and Analyze Billions of Data Points in Real Time
  • Onboard AI - Learn any GitHub repo in 59 seconds
  • obsidian-releases

Community plugins list, theme list, and releases of Obsidian.

I manage my notes and attention using obsidian.md and three main features: links, tags, and templates. Obsidian is free, and works on all major platforms; syncing can be done with iCloud or Dropbox for free.

  • Calibre Web

:books: Web app for browsing, reading and downloading eBooks stored in a Calibre database

I buy a lot of 3rd party PDFs, so keeping track of what book a monster came from is really important. I organize my PDFs using the excellent Calibre, and make those available on my home network using Calibre-Web. If you only use your notes from one computer, Calibre-Web is unnecessary, but I frequently swap between desktop and iPad.

  • Appwrite

Appwrite - The open-source backend cloud platform. Add Auth, Databases, Functions, and Storage to your product and build any application at any scale while using your preferred coding languages and tools.

  • calibre

The official source code repository for the calibre ebook manager
