  • ShareX

ShareX is a free and open source program that lets you capture or record any area of your screen and share it with a single press of a key. It also allows uploading images, text or other types of files to many supported destinations you can choose from.

  • While the Problem Steps Recorder was built in, it was not a great tool for producing docs, IMO. I largely prefer another screenshot tool, ShareX which can annotate screenshots like snagit and also record video,. I would take the output from ShareX, and write the steps myself.

  • Docusaurus

Easy to maintain open source documentation websites.
