I'm trying to make a mod for zoo tycoon 2 and I need to edit some buildings. They are all in .nif format but even with the add on its not seeing the files. If I open blender then open the files it dosent see them. If I open the folder and try to open the file with blender it crashes. And if I change the file extension blender thinks the files are corrupted. I am using https://github.com/niftools/blender_niftools_addon/releases as the add on. The video I saw says I just need to download it and tell blender to install the zip. It says it's installed, it's just not working. I got nifskope and that can open it, but I can't edit the model itself. And I don't see a "save as" option that will make it a file blender would see. Any fixes?
