Hey folks, this isn't entirely unrelated, but check out cyclOSM.org, which maps all types of bike trails. If you're GIS-inclined, experienced, or interested, consider getting involved with openstreetmap.org, which is where cyclOSM pulls its data from. La Crosse bikers don't seem to be especially active mappers currently, so hopefully that will change.
