DALL·E mini may not be quite up to the level of DALL·E 2, but as far as generating recognisable, coherent interpretations of natural language prompts I think it's one of the best text-to-image neural nets out there, and I've been having hours of fun messing around with it lately. In particular I was amazed to find it has a flair for capturing celebrity likenesses, with "[person] prison mugshot" providing particularly detailed results - I genuinely think this could be the biggest step forward in the art of caricature since the likes of Al Hirschfeld or even James Gillray.
