If you use Org mode you don't need Hyperbole. Org links can be used in arbitrary major modes with org-open-at-point-global. "Buttons" to interlink different files are nor an interesting nor a unique concept of Hyperbole. Also it has often been criticized that Hyperbole throws together too many unrelated concepts, see https://github.com/rswgnu/hyperbole/issues/6.
