Yet another modal editing on Emacs / 猫态编辑 (by meow-edit)

  • If Boon is not to your liking, then perhaps Meow is?

  • god-mode

Minor mode for God-like command entering

  • boon

    Ergonomic Command Mode for Emacs

  • I am using Boon, and it has transformed my Emacs experience!

  • xcape

Linux utility to configure modifier keys to act as other keys when pressed and released on their own.

  • All you need is dual mode modifiers - remap your spacebar to act as Ctrl when pressed and generate space symbol when released. You can make it with xcape on linux and with dual-key-remap on windows. It is also something for macos, but I never used it.

  • dual-key-remap

Remap any key to any other two keys on Windows 🔥. Remap CapsLock to both Ctrl and Escape! (It's like xcape for windows!)

  • miryoku

Miryoku is an ergonomic, minimal, orthogonal, and universal keyboard layout.

  • Home row mods with Miryoku are a really comfortable way around Emacs vanilla bindings. But they are a time investment and require some tinkering to get timings right.

  • repeaters

Easily define multiple repeat-maps in Emacs and associate them with commands.

  • Speaking of repeating commands, here's a little package I wrote to make that easier. It's a sort of "semi-modal" form of editing. Whenever a repeatable key/command is used, it activates a "repeat-map", which stays active until you use any key that's not in the repeat-map. The feature for this is built-in to Emacs since version 28. The package just makes it easier to use.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
