  • ubuntu-touch

Discontinued A simple and beautiful mobile OS for everyone! This repository is for Ubuntu Touch issue tracking. It does not contain any code used to create Ubuntu Touch.

  • Why not explore UBports? That provides a full desktop experience on a phone: https://ubports.com

  • crouton

    Chromium OS Universal Chroot Environment

  • Chromebook crouton is a thing on chromebooks, where it uses the underlying Linux kernel (which is nice, cause it has all the device drivers needed / configured for that device), and let's you install userspace programs - ie the distro of your choice. And both can be run at the same time. The heart of crouton is chroot. Anyways, something like that on a phone would let you keep the android linux kernel and run your own desktop distro (just user space things... the gnu part) on top. And hopefully that would play nice with all the drivers and let and external monitor setup be easy.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • termux-desktop

Discontinued Setup A Beautiful Desktop/GUI In Termux

  • Have you tried Termux? I currently use my old Xperia with a broken screen as a "server", but it can actually be used like this: https://github.com/adi1090x/termux-desktop (I haven't tried, since I don't need to)
