I understand your frustration, it hit me hard when I got my Chromebook. I have a 128GB one as well. The usage of sd cards is very limiting on ChromeOS. Ended up messing with all sorts of hacks through the developer mode (the official workaround, crouton, Breath ) for more than a week.
