-
InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
Terraform - Used to build and maintain cloud infrastructure. The infrastructure to run a modern online game is impressively complex.
Scala - Popular in the data-science world, particularly when working with distributed data processing (e.g. Spark). Lots of large companies have dedicated data teams that process the huge amount of analytics and other data the games produce.
Python - Useful all around. Used for everything from one-off scripts, automation, backend servers. Can even be embedded as a scripting language.
Lua - Very popular embedded scripting language.
Kotlin - The primary language for Android, but also with Kotlin/Native starting to make its way onto other platforms including the browser, iOS, and PCs. This is one of my new favorites.
