  • crates.io

    The Rust package registry

  • So I saw a discussion somewhere about open source funding and how to make sure contributors in your dependency tree are adequately rewarded for their work. There was a suggestion of adding a funding lock file listing people to fund for that project and dependencies for the project and then if everyone used this service it would just work tm. That didn't seem feasible to me, but using the github and crates.io APIs did, so I knocked out fundamental.

  • Anyway here's the github link hopefully it can highlight some people deserving of some more funding

Gather author, contributor and publisher data on crates in your dependency graph.

  • https://github.com/rust-secure-code/cargo-supply-chain can also help here.

  • cargo-fund

Discover funding links for your project's dependencies.

  • Perhaps you can take a look at https://github.com/acfoltzer/cargo-fund - it is the same idea, but no longer maintained.
