Void Linux has xbps-src which is similar, from what I understand. However, it doesn't really fit your definition with having a huge breadth of packages, it's a distro with a much smaller community so you don't have quite as many contributors at the moment. I end up patching that up with flatpak which I see you mentioned not wanting to rely on, and that does present occasional issues that I don't have on an Arch based distro when installing an AUR package and such.
If you are up to some work (which you probably are used to as an arch user) you can get the AUR on basically any distro via Bedrock
So... why do Guix and Nix's distros exist?
