  • sensible.emacs.d

Sensible and minimal starting Emacs configuration. A clean room implementation of a pure vanilla Emacs configuration that is sanely manageable, and practically useful.

  • crafted-emacs

    A sensible base Emacs configuration.

  • I really appreciate that you are sharing this work with the community, but this repo is not presenting what I would think of as a "vanilla" setup. The closest "vanilla" and "sane" recent emacs setup (i.e. besides Prelude) I've see is Rational Emacs, which has an early-init.el, init.el, and possible user config file(s), and actively tries to avoid using external packages. If you're going to advertise "vanilla" don't use so many(!) external packages.
