  • pass-import

A pass extension for importing data from most existing password managers

  • Pass, which uses Git and GPG, so anywhere you can store a git repository is a valid password manager vault. Furthermore, each client has a full version of the password vault, so should a device go missing, I still have a full copy. It does however have a flaw in that it exposes which sites you have passwords for, which can be fixed by using a plug-in, but sadly that plug-in relies on LUKS, so Linux only. Works with pretty much every desktop browser and mobile OS there is.

  • Bitwarden

The core infrastructure backend (API, database, Docker, etc). (by bitwarden)

  • Bitwarden subscription based, and while cheaper than 1Password, i don’t really see an advantage over 1Password.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
