If you make a custom Linux distro, is there a way to turn it into an iso file and share it with people? Also, would there be a way to send updates to it without having to overwrite everything on your computer?

  • alma

Discontinued Create Arch Linux based bootable USB drives

  • Check out ALMA for creating a bootable USB with preset files for custom packages.

  • archweb

    Arch Linux website code

  • I too wanted to do what you're wanting to do but with scripting, Anyone could have my most recent backed up system up and running in no time. The only ISO I need to use is the one I download from archlinux.org. The only problem is, it's setup to my systems standards so you may not be able to run my scripts successfully.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • Not OP but I do something similar (albeit a bit clunkily) - here's the repo: https://github.com/benjaminrsherman/dotfiles
