so, i couldnt open my radeon software after the recent update, i wanna follow these instructions and uninstall the software and reinstall it, need help in finding where to get the compatible version and need advice on whether its okay to uninstall the radeon software

    • So many people in this thread giving bad advice. This happens because Windows Update installs an older version of the AMD Driver that is not compatible with the updated Radeon Software. I was able to permanently fix this on my laptop. You'll need to download wumgr and DDU. Run DDU and uninstall the AMD GPU drivers. Reboot the PC after the uninstall. Once you're back in Windows run WUMGR and have it search for updates. AMD drivers will come up as available. Select both of those updates and hide them. Once you hide them you can now download the newest amd drivers directly from their website and not have this issue again.
