InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
- Nebula ( https://github.com/slackhq/nebula ) is similar to the other two. It was developed by Slack to solve some problems the existing systems of the time didn't handle, or didn't handle well. It's the least user friendly, but also the most secure, powerful and gives you the most control. You can define which hosts (or groups) can access which ports on which systems. All nodes are identified with a with a signed certificate and you control the CA and the signing process. In my personal testing it's also performed the best for me. It's even smart enough to find the fastest path between nodes. This is completely free and open source, however to use it you should set up your own "Lighthouse" node with a hosting provider, which will cost you around $5/mo.
- Zerotier ( https://www.zerotier.com/ ) is a lot like Tailscale, except uses it's own crypto system for the VPN tunnels. Also like Tailscale, all the system administration is taken care of for you behind their user interface. There is a free tier.
- Tailscale ( https://tailscale.com/ ) is a friendly, easy to use system that uses Wireguard ( https://www.wireguard.com/ ) for the VPN services. This is in essence an easy to use interface wrapper for Wireguard where they handle running the server for you. There is a free tier.
