Just as a way to check that in-line autofill works, try using FlorisBoard as that keyboard specifically has support for in-line autofill.
For 1, someone submitted a fix for Vanadium: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/Vanadium/pull/155. However, if this gets fixed, it would only allow autofill via input overlay because of 2. You would need to use florisboard or Gboard.
If you really want autofill to work now, you'll need to use bromite browser with florisboard/Gboard for inline autofill.
