  • bypass-twitter-softwall-extension

A firefox extension that bypasses twitter soft login walls.

  • Chrome: I will not pay google five dollars to put my free and open source extensions in their store, but you can install it manually in just 1 step. Download the extension here. In your URL bar, go to chrome://extensions, click "Load unpacked," and select the downloaded directory.

  • nitter

    Alternative Twitter front-end

  • If you want to just browse twitter, I recommend https://nitter.net, which is an open source front end client for twitter that doesn't use javascript or require login.

  • privacy-redirect

A simple web extension that redirects Twitter, YouTube, Instagram & Google Maps requests to privacy friendly alternatives.

  • You can also use Privacy Redirect. It redirects to alternative front-ends for a lot of different websites including Instagram and Twitter, so you can use them without logging in.
