  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • LookingGlass

An extremely low latency KVMFR (KVM FrameRelay) implementation for guests with VGA PCI Passthrough.

  • There are also software based solutions ranging from VNC (suitable for work maybe but far too slow for gaming) to [LookingGlass)[https://github.com/gnif/LookingGlass] which is promising but still in early development. Once you start trying to get a fast & stable interface over a network, you open up a whole other set of problems and considerations. Trying to get video as-good-as-live over a network is difficult even for the big players.

  • barrier

    Open-source KVM software

  • Input devices (mouse, keyboard etc) are annoying because I was originally using a PCI USB controller for the VM and a USB switch to go between host and VM. This worked well and performed as you'd expect. The issue came when I upgraded one of the GPUs, and it's a massive card. I have 6 PCI slots on the board and only 3 usable due to GPU overhang. The USB controller had to go. Now I'm using barrier to send mouse and keyboard over the (virtual) network. It's ok but not perfect.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
