For VR, the single most useful application that I strongly encourage you to try is a sharpening filter - even if you don't like sharpening in flat games. In VR, blurriness just hits different, and a sharpening filter can be an amazing uplift in visual quality. So do try that out. If you still don't like it, that's fine, of course.
