Have you read the book's chapter 7? If so and would the information presented in this issue understand it better? I think the chapter is poorly structured and i understand the authors might be too busy to rewrite it whole alone. However, there was a person seemingly willing to put in some work but was rejected, as was my suggestion of a gradual improvement (really just changing 2 paragraphs) and the issue was closed.
