Cadence and its successor Temporal solve completely different problems from nomad or k8s. Nomad and k8s are container orchestration solutions that help to deploy and operate your microservices. Temporal helps to build resilient applications that keep operating in the presence of process and infrastructure failures. Such applications can be deployed in many ways from bare metal to containers.
