  • homebrew-emacsmacport

Emacs mac port formulae for the Homebrew package manager

I'm a fan of using vanilla emacs (less to be confused about if something breaks as a beginner!) — and since you're on OSX, I personally think the railwaycat fork will make things a bit nicer.

  • emacs-builds

Self-contained Emacs.app builds for macOS, with native-compilation support.

Jim's builds are pretty good, I think: https://github.com/jimeh/emacs-builds

  • Onboard AI

Learn any GitHub repo in 59 seconds. Onboard AI learns any GitHub repo in minutes and lets you chat with it to locate functionality, understand different parts, and generate new code. Use it for free at www.getonboard.dev.

  • build-emacs-macos

Build script for emacs and macos

Here's the build script that I use. It is pretty dead simple. https://github.com/mclear-tools/build-emacs-macos
