InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
With OpenSnitch is really easy. netdata, suricata or similar tools can also help, but are more servers oriented.
For network monitoring, I recently started using this which is kinda similar to opensnitch but also hashes programs and shows how much bandwidth they've used. It doesn't have a firewall but appears to be compatible with opensnitch.
