However, unlike other crates in this space, fortify has a simple API and doesn't use macros to generate unsafe code, which IMO makes it much less likely to harbor soundness issues. I used Miri to check that it doesn't invoke undefined behavior in the use cases captured by the tests. All that's left is the long process of stamping out soundness bugs as they are discovered by myself and other users.
