Generally, I think the ideas on display here sound quite good, though I recognized at least one trope already in use by the EV-Like game Endless Sky, your Super People (which I should hope is a tentative naming, it does not sound great, to be honest with you) are very similar in concept to ES's Alphas. Experimental/Eugenics produced superhumans who naturally evolved into conquerors. Although admittedly, Star Trek's Khan predates it considerably.
