COMPANY: www.warp.dev (Warp) TYPE: Full-time DESCRIPTION: We’re building a more usable, humane, and powerful terminal emulator/CLI for developers and their teams. Our users have praised Warp’s speed, aesthetic and user-friendly UI, and intuitive text-editing. Warp is currently in beta, but will be available to general audiences soon. The terminal is written entirely in Rust, based on an in-house Rust UI framework that we’re developing alongside. The projects are currently closed-source, but our plan is to open source both the UI framework and the app separately. We’re looking for engineers of all seniority levels who are excited to work on tools for other developers and help make everyone more productive in the terminal! Ockam crates implement a collection of messaging and cryptographic protocols that provide end-to-end application layer trust in data. We believe that, in order to have a realistically manageable vulnerability surface, all modern applications need end-to-end guarantees of data integrity and authenticity. The only way to build secure and private applications is to remove unnecessary implicit trust in network boundaries, intermediaries and infrastructure.
