Graphical user interface for managing your Linux applications. Supports AppImage, Debian and Arch packages (including AUR), Flatpak, Snap and native Web applications
Normally, I'd just recommend people use VM (well, quickemu GUI would probably be more convenient now) but PopOS has peculiarities that you wouldn't catch unless you've used it for 1 week to 1 month.
If you're in the mood for trying stuff though, I'd recommend using Ventoy so you could have multiple .iso in one USB flashdrive/ext. HDD. So put your Ubuntu .iso file in there too, just in case PopOS didn't work for you.
With that said, there are absolutely good things going with PopOS as I will say that their PopShop is one of the best GUI software centre I've used, even if I do prefer to use Bauh and Pamac-GUI most of the time as they're more complete (Bauh especially). Their newer repo stuff is also very nice, as I prefer Ubuntu-base but also want something more up to date than Ubuntu's defaults.
